Offshore crewing carries obligations a spreadsheet cannot safely hold. Rotations must respect work-rest rules. Every seat on an installation counts against its POB limit. Safety-critical certificates expire, such as OPITO (offshore safety training) and GWO (wind industry safety training) qualifications. An expired certificate can stop a mobilisation, that is, sending a person out to their job. Markular keeps these rules in one place, so the plan, the hours, and the competencies always agree with each other.
