People permissions reference
Markular controls access to People by permission level, not by job title. Your organisation's roles are mapped onto three permission levels, and every screen and action checks the level, so the same rules apply for every customer.
The three levels
Each level includes everything the level below it can do.
| Permission | Who typically has it | What it allows |
|---|---|---|
| View personnel | Coordinators, planners | Open the directory, org chart, competency overview, and reports. Read only. |
| Manage personnel | Personnel managers | Everything in View, plus add and edit people, positions, absence, departments, locations, and review self-service submissions. |
| Administer personnel | Personnel administrators | Everything in Manage, plus access control, country restrictions, and bulk personnel import. |
