Review the activity log
Use the Activity log when you need to confirm that an important administrative action happened, which Markular module it affected, who performed it and whether it succeeded. The log covers every Markular module, so it lives in Workspace, in Access Center.
Before you start
- You need permission to view audit activity and administration access for the relevant module. The audit permission alone does not reveal activity from every Markular module.
- The page is read-only. Audit activity cannot be changed or removed by an ordinary administrator.
- Sensitive personnel values and document contents are not shown.
Find an activity
- Open Workspace, then Administration, then Access Center, then Activity log.
- Search by activity, person or a known reference ID.
- Narrow the list by Markular module, activity type, status or period. The module list only includes modules whose administration activity you are allowed to review.
- Use Module & area to see both the affected product and the administrative area, for example Planner · Access Center.
- Select a row to open the activity details.
The list shows when the activity happened, what happened, which Markular module and administrative area it belongs to, who performed it and whether it succeeded, failed or was denied. Dates and times follow the user's selected regional format and time zone.
Review the details
The detail panel explains the activity in plain language and shows the affected resource. Technical references such as the event ID, resource ID and correlation ID are available when support or an internal investigation needs them. These stable references are not translated.
If a former user's name is no longer available, the activity remains in the history and is shown as performed by a former or unavailable user. This preserves the record without making it depend on an active user account.
What is recorded
The history focuses on important actions such as:
- granting or revoking access;
- assigning or removing roles;
- changing reusable access roles;
- exporting People data;
- changing managed document access or ownership;
- cancelling an assigned Task with an approved reason;
- permanently deleting supported People or document records.
Ordinary navigation, searches and profile views are not recorded here by default.
