What Skills is for

Skills is the module for training and certification. You build your own course material, put people through it, and certify them against the position they hold on a specific installation. When a requirement or a course changes, the people affected are told what they need to redo to stay certified.

What Skills covers​

  • Your own training material. You write and maintain the courses yourself, so they match how your organisation actually works instead of a fixed catalogue you cannot change.
  • Certification against a position on an installation. The same person can be certified for different positions on different rigs, each with its own requirements.
  • The whole approval cycle in one flow. A completed course moves through review and sign-off without anyone tracking it in a spreadsheet on the side.
  • Refresher notices. When a certificate is coming up for renewal, or the requirement behind it changes, the people affected are told in time to act.

Skills is licensed separately, so it is not part of every organisation's Markular.
