Speed up entry with favorites

Favorites let you keep an entry you use often, such as a common activity or a regular allowance, and reuse it later. Instead of typing the same details each time you fill a timesheet, you set the favorite up once and add it to a day in a single step. This article shows you how to create a favorite and how to apply one to a day.

Create a favorite

Favorites are set up in the Favorites manager, which you open from the timesheet:

  1. On your timesheet, select the Favorites button (the star icon) in the header to open the manager.
  2. Choose Add New Favorite.
  3. Fill in the details: a name you will recognise, the activity, the default hours, and an optional note. Then save.

A favorite is a reusable template for an entry. It holds the details you set, such as the activity and its hours, so you do not have to fill them in again. See Add and reject entries on a day for how entries work.

Apply a favorite to a day

Once you have created a favorite, add it to any day in one step:

  1. Open the day you want to add the entry to.
  2. Under Quick Add from Favorites, pick the favorite you saved.
  3. The entry is added to the day with its saved details.

You can still change the entry after you add it, for example to adjust the hours for that day. Applying a favorite just fills in the starting details for you.

This works the same on an offshore timesheet and an onshore timesheet.
