Choose language and regional settings

Your language and regional settings follow your Markular account in the organisation you are signed in to. You can use different settings in another organisation without changing your profile or work location.

Change your settings

  1. Open Workspace.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Language & region, choose your Display language.
  4. Choose the Regional format used for dates, times and numbers.
  5. Search for and select your Time zone.
  6. Review the preview, then select Save changes.

Menus, buttons and guidance change to your chosen display language. The URL and your place in Markular stay the same. Names and text written by your organisation or another person are shown as entered and are not translated automatically.

What the choices affect

  • Display language controls product text such as menus, buttons and guidance.
  • Regional format controls how dates, times and numbers are displayed.
  • Time zone controls how Markular shows deadlines, notifications and scheduled events that include a time.

An event or deadline with its own work-related time zone still follows that context. Markular can show it in your selected time zone without changing the time stored for the event.

If you have not made a choice

Markular uses your organisation's defaults and falls back to English if a translation is not available. Your administrator decides which completed languages are available to choose.
